Captain Wilberforce – Mindfilming

'Mindfilming' the power pop gem debut from UK's Captain Wilberforce is loaded with a multitude of rich textures and sonic layering, it not only makes this album immediately likeable but continues to please again and again even after many subsequent listens.
Each song is a musical experience with jolts of surprises, unexpected twists & turns, and wonderful musicianship from these talented players. They eloquently blend of smooth British pop, with elements of jazz, all layered to perfection by Captain Wilberforce's musical style. All the elements here are precisely and deliberately placed, like a classical composition. The thought and care with which these musical collages have been created with these songs are intensely interesting and musically involving.
